The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to regain confidence after losing at home in a close game to the Jacksonville Jaguars 20-10. On their side, the Tennessee Titans are looking to even their record of 4 wins and 4 losses in one of the tightest divisions in the American Conference. Should they lose the game against the Steelers, they could fall to last place in the division and into the red zone of the playoff standings.
The Titans Fortress
The last meeting between the two teams ended 19-13 in favor of the Steelers as visitors. The last time Tennessee defeated Pittsburgh was in 2013, with a score of 16-9. Since then, the Titans have not been able to beat the Steelers at home or away.
Tennessee regained its confidence on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, as rookie quarterback Will Levis had a big debut in the NFLthrowing four touchdown passes.
The Titans scored their most points, totaling 28, since 2021, ending a two-game losing streak.
Both teams lost the ball once, but Tennessee recorded six catches and won the time of possession battle. The Titans score 18.9 points per game and average 296.6 total yards, including 180.7 yards per pass and 115.9 yards per rush.

The Vitality of the Steelers
Pittsburgh lost its momentum Sunday against Jacksonville, as it was outgained in total yards 377-261 and was 3-for-12 on third downs. The Steelers also lost starting quarterback Kenny Pickett, 10-of-16 for 73 yards, to a rib injury.
That forced backup Mitch Trubisky, 15-of-27 for 138 yards and a touchdown and two interceptions, to take over in the second half. All three of the Steelers' losses this season have been by more than ten points.
The Steelers have not yet decided who will start at quarterback on Thursday, as Pickett's participation will be decided at the last minute. But neither quarterback played well in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars
