The San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles are the only undefeated teams left in the NFL. NFL. In addition, the Kansas City Chiefs hold off the New York Jets and Zach Wilson.
Week 4 action in the NFL left a lot to analyze and important results for several big teams that are already looking ahead to the postseason.
49ers, Eagles and Bills Remain at the Top
The 49ers posted a 35-16 win over the Arizona Cardinals and remain one of the undefeated teams of the season. For many experts, it is already to talk about Brock Purdy in a different way.
Purdy is 20-of-21 for 283 yards and a touchdown. Purdy's contribution is not light for the 49ers, who hold an undefeated 4-0 record, he is a key part of an undefeated team.
The Eagles extended the game into overtime and pulled out a 34-31 victory over the Washington Commanders. The game was far from perfect for the defending NFC champions.
Still, the Eagles are leading the NFC East. Philadelphia finally got the passing game going, as Jalen Hurts threw for 290 yards and two touchdowns. If Hurts regains his 2022 form, the Eagles will once again have elite units on both sides of the ball.
The Buffalo Bills also managed to beat the Miami Dolphins in a game that ended 48-20 in favor of Buffalo.
For Miami, the offense is incredible, but the defense is a problem. The Dolphins held the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots without much trouble, but allowed a total of 82 points against the Bills and Chargers.
For the Bills, Josh Allen has been flawless since his Week 1 debacle against the Jets where he finished the game with three interceptions.
Against the Dolphins, Allen completed 21 of 25 passes for 320 yards and five total touchdowns, leading Buffalo to a 3-1 record, a blowout win and first place in the AFC East.

Cowboys and Chiefs Gain Consistency
The Dallas Cowboys showed their strength after losing to the Cardinals last week. With a 38-3 victory, the Dallas Cowboys crushed New England.
The defense scored two touchdowns while Dak Prescott completed 28 of 34 passes for 261 yards and two touchdowns. The Cowboys also rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown, something we should expect more of as the line recovers.
For the Patriots, however, it's time to start taking a hard look at quarterbacks in the 2024 draft. New England, which holds a 1-3 record, can't move forward with Mac Jones, who was relegated to the sidelines in favor of Bailey Zappe during Sunday's drubbing.
Whether Bill Belichick brings Jones back or not is irrelevant. The Patriots can't win anything major until they improve at the most important position.
Finally, the Chiefs managed to steal a 23-20 home win over the Jets. The real concern for the Chiefs is not that the defense was beaten by Zach Wilson, but the receivers.
Kansas City had just seven receptions for 65 yards by its wide receivers. That won't work against better teams. The Chiefs, with a 3-1 record, lead the AFC West, but Kansas City has to start making plays on the perimeter.
For the Jets, there are no moral victories in the NFL. New York, which remains with a 1-3 record, should be thrilled by the performance of Wilson, who completed 28 of 39 attempts for 245 yards and two touchdowns, outperforming Patrick Mahomes.
If Wilson plays like this, New York could be a playoff contender. However, much still needs to change on the Jets' offensive and defensive lines.
