Knicks Visit The Bucks

This Tuesday, fans of the NBA will have a regular season showdown where two Eastern Conference rivals square off. The New York Knicks are visiting as they travel to take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night, with the winner advancing to the semifinals in Las Vegas.

New York beat the Toronto Raptors 119-106 in their previous game on Friday night. Milwaukee, meanwhile, defeated the Atlanta Hawks 132-121 at home on Saturday night.

Knicks Seek Fourth Straight Victory

New York extended its winning streak to three and has won seven of its last nine games prior to this matchup after defeating Toronto on the road. The Knicks improved to 12-7 on the season and remained tied for second place in the Atlantic, three games behind the top-ranked Boston Celtics, prior to Monday's game.

Against Toronto, New York closed the first quarter on an 11-4 run to take a 34-26 lead, only to see Toronto tie the game at 57 at halftime.

The Knicks opened the second half with a 14-4 run to take a 10-point lead, but then saw the lead shrink to three and closed the quarter on a 12-2 run to take a 90-77 lead after three quarters.

New York never allowed Toronto to get within 10 the rest of the way to win the game.

The Knicks shot 50% from the field, including 16-of-36 from the three-point line, and held Toronto to 44% from the field. Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 22 points, five rebounds and eight assists in the win.

So far this season, the Knicks rank 24th in the league in scoring offense at 110.9 points per game.

New York ranks fourth in rebounding by collecting 46.6 rebounds per game, while ranking 28th in assists by dishing out 23.1 per game.

The Knicks lead the league in defense allowing 105.5 points per game. RJ Barrett is the Knicks' third leading scorer this season averaging 18.6 points per game.

Milwaukee Maintains Historic Lead Over NY

Milwaukee bounced back from a loss to the Chicago Bulls by defeating Atlanta at home on Saturday night. The Bucks entered Monday with a 14-6 record on the season and had a three-game lead over the Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers atop the Central Division.

Against Atlanta, Milwaukee led by five points after the first quarter, by four at halftime and by one after three quarters.

The game was tied with 5:23 to play, but the Bucks outscored the Hawks 18-7 the rest of the way to win the game.

Milwaukee shot an impressive 59.6% from the field, including 14-of-33 from the three-point line, and held a 44-40 advantage in rebounds.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 32 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in the win, recording his 36th career triple-double. The Bucks rank third in the league in offense scoring 121.1 points per game on the season.

Milwaukee ranks 20th in rebounding by grabbing 43.8 boards per game, while the team is 24th in dishing out 25.1 assists per game.

The Bucks rank 24th in the league in defense allowing 118.1 points per game this season. Giannis Antetokounmpo leads Milwaukee with 29.9 points, 10.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game this season.

Milwaukee ranks third in the league in field goal shooting percentage by shooting 49.5% as a team this season.

The Bucks rank seventh in three-pointers per game by making 14.1 three-pointers per game and rank eighth in three-point shooting by hitting 37.3% of their attempts from beyond the arc.
